About TopGuilds
TopGuilds is a directory of Discord communities that welcome new members. You can browse servers by category, game, topic and language, see how many people are online right now and join with one click. Listing a server is free.
TopGuilds is run by the team behind BotGG, a Discord bot for moderation, welcome messages, events and server insights. You do not need BotGG to be listed: any server owner can add their server with a Discord login and a permanent invite.
What makes TopGuilds different
- Every listing is reviewed by people. New listings and every edit are checked by BotGG staff before they go public. How we review listings
- Paying never changes the ranking. Paid plans add page extras and analytics, never a higher position.
- Live numbers. Member and online counts come from Discord and are refreshed regularly, so you can see which communities are active.
- Verified activity. Servers that use BotGG can show a "Verified active" badge, because their activity is measured by the bot instead of being self-reported.
- Three languages. The site is available in English, Russian and Hebrew, and servers can be filtered by the language their community speaks.
Who runs TopGuilds
TopGuilds is part of BotGG. The same team builds the site, reviews listings and answers messages sent through the contact page. TopGuilds is not affiliated with Discord Inc.
Guides and editorial policy
The guides are written by the TopGuilds team for people who run or look for Discord communities: how to start a server, keep it safe, grow it and find good communities to join.
- Guides are based on how Discord works and on what we see while reviewing listings. We update a guide when Discord changes a feature it describes.
- Guides never rank servers for money. When a guide shows servers, they come from the live directory and follow the same ranking as the rest of the site.
- When a guide mentions BotGG, it is because we make it. We say so, and we describe other options where they exist.
- Found a mistake or something out of date? Tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
Rules for listed servers
Every listed server must follow Discord's rules and our community guidelines. If you find a server that breaks them, use the "Report this server" link on its page.
